In the Summer months, this lighthouse is bustling with tourists gathered around on the pier. I wanted a different type of shot. I wanted to show a quiet and frozen Lake Michigan lighthouse scene. To show an understanding of composition, I used the rule of thirds and leading lines. I used a small aperture to capture this photo.
